My Dad Words can not express the love ❤️, I have for my Dad, he was as solid as a rock, salt of the earth kind of guy, he was a hands-on man, he could do anything he turned his mind to. He got things done, he spoke his mind. In his late 60s, he travelled to Australia to visit us, he ended up painting the outside of our house by himself. He stayed up at night to feed our baby, to let us sleep. He had serious health problems, they slowed him down but they didn’t stop him, he was that sort of guy he just got on with it. I’m Tremendously proud to call him “My Dad”’ I miss him already but he will never be gone or forgotten, he memories live on in me forever more .

Earnie will be sorely missed by all who knew him . He raised his family with integrity and hard word . He was not afraid to speak his mind and i am married to his beautiful Daughter who has that same gift well mostly a gift . Earnie and Daphne raised their family by spending time as a family playing, games eating meals together and talking laughing and crying together during an era of little technology they taught lessons through example and love. We first met 35 years and had a mutual respect and admiration for each other I always respected him . We will cherish the memories and laugh about the good times we had . Love and prayers to all our friends and family across the pond and around the world . We will miss you Earnie Good speed Peter and family

You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see all he’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember he’s only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what he’d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. David Harkins
